Duties of Award Committee – Economic

  • To set criteria for both Merit and Other Awards to Constituent Clubs and Individuals
  • To call for nomination of Candidates from the Constituent Clubs
  • To recommend Candidates for Merit Awards to the Executive Council for final approval by the General Assembly.
  • To collaborate with Ibadan Cultural Festival Committee in choice of awardees to raise fund for the CCII through Distinguished Fellows and other Awards.
  • To collaborate with Membership Development and Services Committee for awards to Constituent Clubs.
  • To carry out any other duties as may be directed by the Executive Council,
  • Award day to be created and separated from the Cultural Day.
  • Generation of Corporate Sponsorship for CCII Programmes
  • Corporate Awards
  • Maintenance Records and Contacts of all past Awardees and invite, recognize and give separate seats at each years Award Ceremony.
  • Confer Annual Award of MPII (Most Patriotic Ibadan Indigene) on three (3) Indigenes of Ibadan each year.
  • Confer Annual Award of MOFI (Most Outstanding Friend of Ibadanland) on three (3) non-indigenes with business interests in Ibadanland on annual basis
  • Confer Annual Award of MOCCI (Most Outstanding Corporate Citizen of Ibadanland) on 3 Corporate bodies with presence in Ibadanland on Annual Basis.
  • Confer the Award of MOGIN (Most Outstanding Governor in Nigeria) on one Governor in Nigeria with projects or properties in Ibadan or with outstanding performance as a Governor.
  • Confer Club of the Year Award (COYA) on most Outstanding Female club under the CCII with criteria to be determined by the Executive Council.
  • To meet at least once a week
  • Come up with Operational Modalities and Fund Generating Initiatives
  • Members to Drop their Recommendations/suggestions for each Committee at Ibadan House: Committee meeting day with the EXCO is every Thursday
  • Each Committee Chairman/Rep to be ready for progress report at G.A. Meetings
