Duties of Membership Development and Services Committee – Economic/Social

  • To visit from time to time the Constituent Clubs during their meetings;
  • To generate and collate ideas on the Welfare of the Constituent Clubs;
  • Scrutinize any intending Club(s) for the purpose of admission into CCII;
  • To embark on development of New Constituent Clubs with a target of 25 New Clubs per annum;
  • To embark on the revival of Moribund/Inactive Constituent Clubs with a target of 20 per annum.
  • To take responsibility for communication with the CCII Diaspora and Offshore Associations.
  • To take responsibility for communication and welfare of CCII Satellite Associations in Nigeria
  • To Justify and Secure approval for Constituent Financial Clubs Benefits from the President General in the areas of:
  • Free use of Bode Amao Hall once a year for Clubs AGM/Anniversary
  • Free use of the CCII Bus for their club outing once a year
  • Free use of CCII Elders (above 70) Meeting Room – Newspaper, Typing of Speech, etc.
  • Access to Adult Health by way of eye test etc.
  • To ensure that the benefits under CCII Insurance and Welfare Programmes reach the actual families of the diseased/disabled members.
  • To rescucitate at least 70% of the Inactive and Moribund Clubs
  • To generate at least 20 New and Solid clubs per annum
  • Advise the EXCO on how to review the Membership Subscription to reflect the numerical and financial strength of each club as from 2018.
  • To create specific intermediate clubs – Borokini Forum and Youth Forum from among Ibadan Indigenes of age 40-60 and 25-39 respectively.
  • To promote provision of adequate insurance cover and other Welfare programmes among all members of the constituent clubs of the CCII.
  • To create Affiliate clubs of the CCII from the 47 markets in Ibadan as it has happened from Bodija Market.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by the Executive Council
  • To meet at least once a week
  • Come up with Operational Modalities and Fund Generating Initiatives
  • Members to Drop their Recommendations/suggestions for each Committee at Ibadan House: Committee meeting day with the EXCO is every Thursday
  • Each Committee Chairman/Rep to be ready for progress report at G.A. Meetings
